The Dolomites: World Heritage Site
So close, you can almost touch them with your finger!
In June 2009, the Dolomites were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Their rare and unique beauty is based above all on their spectacular rarity in form: majestic mountains, jagged peaks, towers that rise into the sky and merge with deep valleys and rolling hills.
The Fassa Valley is in the North East of the Dolomites and runs for around 25 Km. The hospitality of the people and the great tourism offer makes the area one of the most desirable destinations for mountain lovers, in both winter and summer.
Moena is a lively tradition-filled town that offers everything you could wish for from a holiday with sport lessons and enjoyment: a pedestrian area with lovely cafes, shopping opportunities, concerts and other cultural events, multiple sporting options and above all the fantastic Alpine world. From this year a new label has been introduced into the Alpine Pearls circuit that promotes an eco-friendly holiday.
Hotel Post in Moena is situated in the pedestrian area of the town and, thanks to its central position, it is the ideal departure point for fantastic outdoor experiences in the heart of the Dolomites.
